Welcome to Frozen Reptile, your one stop shop for ethically bred, extremely high quality frozen reptile food. We pride ourselves in the quality of our frozen mice, rats, rabbits, chicks and the other frozen reptile + bird of prey food we sell.
We have made ethics, quality and affordability our three highest priorities and we like to think it comes across in the service we offer!
As well as stocking all the usual food items - mice, rats and chicks - we make a point of offering the harder to find items. This is why you will see multimammate mice (great for those picky royal pythons!), gerbils, rabbits, hamsters and quails available in our store.
In addition to our expansive range of ethically raised frozen rodents, we've gone one step further with shipping - creating an unbeatable service which you simply won't find elsewhere. Having teamed up with 3PL and Interlink we are in the unique position to be able to offer same day dispatch on orders placed as late as 4:30pm. In addition to this, at the checkout process you pick the day you wish your products to be dispatched and on the morning that they are due to arrive, we'll send you an email and/or text message with your one hour delivery slot. No more wasting a day waiting around all day for your frozen pet food delivery, you'll know exactly when you need to be in to receive it. How cool is that?

Frozen Reptile Food
Here at frozen reptile we stock a huge variety of frozen reptile food. We aim to have as expansive an offering as possible so we can cover all kinds of exotic pets - from all kinds of reptiles such as corn snakes all the way to monitor lizards to tawny owls.
Through our desire to cater to all kinds of needs we are now in the position to offer the following rats of all sizes up to 450g+ specimens, these are perfect for all kinds of snakes due to their sizes range, from small rat pups ideal for young snakes and hatchlings of snakes like boas, etc. all the way up to jumbo rats great for growing retics/burms/large female boas, to mention just a few!
We are also able to source frozen mice of all sizes - these are favourites amongst those who keep colubrid snakes because you can feed alot of colubrids mice exclusively throughout their lives without needing to upgrade. Our small pinky mice at 1-2g are great for even tiny hatchling corn snakes or hognoses, for instance. As hte snake grows you simply move up through the sizes - moving on to fuzzy mice and progressing all the way up to the jumbo (30g+) mice for your adults - all delivered straight to your door fresh and frozen.
Other Frozen Rodents
One thing that I think we're particularly good at is sourcing those more unusual, or harder to find frozen rodents and other reptile food. On the frozen rodent front we have a range of rodents which are great for both picky feeders and adding variety to your snakes diet. We have guinea pigs which are 250-400g and relished by larger snakes - particularly greedy boas, retics, carpet pythons, etc. Realistically any snake which is used to eating those sized rodents, or small rabbits for instance, would probably relish a guinea pig! We also offer gerbils and multimammates which make great royal python food for those particularly picky specimens! Do be careful offering gerbils to royals happily eating mice or rats - they've been known to get 'addicted' so to speak and become picky feeders afterwards.
Another new and unique product we're offering is frozen degu's - these are a really popular food throughout europe however they haven't really taken off much in the UK market. Weighing in at 150-250g, they make great food for reptiles used to eating small-med rats. They have potential for making an interesting bird of prey food too! As far as we know, degu's are a unique product here at Frozen Reptile.
Finally on the "other rodents" front are hamsters - these are a little smaller, about the sizes of a large weaner rat - so make great good for all sorts - personally my irian jaya carpet python goes mad for the things! They're also really cheap too so a dead easy way of adding variety to your pets diet.
Anybody who keeps big snakes will tell you rabbit availability is tricky, particularly high quality rabbits. We keep regular stocks of rabbits from rabbit pinkies (a product which we believe to be unique to frozen reptile) - approximately the size of a small-large weaner rat - all the way to jumbo 2k+ rabbits. Naturally these are well suited to the bigger boas and pythnso
Frozen bird wise we have the usual offering of frozen chicks - available in packs from 25 all the way up to 500. Lavished by any semi arboreal snake, these are extremely cheap (as low as 5p each!) they're a sure hit with retics, carpets, corn snakes and those greedy things like kingsnakes, etc. In fact, I've only ever seen two snakes turn down chicks in my life! Give them a go, they're perfect for spicing up your snakes diet so to speak.
We also offer quail in three different sizes. All of our quail are barn raised, in contrast to the battery raised birds which supply most of the hobby. We are able to offer baby quail at only a few grams, 2 week old quail at 20g and adult, prime quail. Again these are relished by all kinds of snakes - try offering an adult quail (or prime quail as they're known) to your large retic or boa and see what they think - just make sure your using long feeding tongs.
Monitor Lizard/Bird of Prey Food
Moving away from snake food, we have an array of food which is suitable for monitor lizards (I think a monitor lizard might enjoy crunching on a chicken neck!), birds of prey and even some foods which fit fantastically in to the BARF diet which is becoming more and more popular as a diet for cats and dogs. We've heard stories about these kinds of foods proving popular with exotic mammals and ferrets too.
We offer a range of chicken products which are sold in 1kg packs. We have chicken necks which are great for birds as they have to work their beak around to get at the meat, we also offer chicken livers, hearts and mixed packs of chicken back, stomach and liver.
We have similar products to the chicken (ie offel and mixed packs of the mixed products - perfect food for our pets) from ducks, turkey and rabbit. Fantastic diet alternatives/additives for a wide range of pets.
The above (particularly the rabbit - which can be used in conjunction with the whole rabbits that we do sell) would make brilliant bird of prey food - these items are often relished as part of a varied diet but can be tricky to source.
Finally we have a few fish products, these are a little experimental as we're not quite sure what might be interested in eating them. I'm sure ferrets/polecats would go for fish, as would some monitor lizards. If we can source fish small enough we may be able to offer a great food source for garter snake keepers.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you need any advice on what food is suitable for your snake please don't hesitate to get in touch via the contact page (link at the bottom of this page) and I'll be happy to help.
